Abel, Seren, and Lugganath appeared in the Shinigami World. "Wow, it's so gloomy," Abel observed, looking around.
"Who dares bring a human to our world?!" a booming voice asked.
"Serendipity," he responded calmly. "She is not all human. Her lifespan raises as she uses the Death Note. She is the Wolf Shinigami stuck in the body of a human." Whispers erupted among the other Shinigami.
"Ah, Abel. I was wondering when you'd be born. You are a combination of the wolf goddess Tor and a shinigami."

That explains much but why is she born a human? There is still much we need to uncover. Lugganath thought to himself in silent behind the two as he waited for what answers he can get without having to speak. And Aske thought he was like her. Ha. He has no idea how far that is from the truth now.

"But why was I born human, Your Majesty?" Abel asked.
"If you were not born human, you would have been born wolf. And wolves cannot write. Plus, most humans care for their young more than wolves do. With a human family, you'd live longer."
"That makes sense," Abel said, thinking that's completely obvious.

Yes why I did not think of that is beyond me. I will wait to ask my questions once Abel is done I do not wish to offend the king. He looked around trying to find a single friendly face among them, but all stared down upon them with their piercing eyes. We are not welcome, well at least one of us isn't.

Abel looked around at the other shinigami. "All right! Who's the pervert who thought that?!" she growled, making them step back. "I'm finished asking. Lugganath looks like he has some though."

"Yes I do thank you Abel. When she was born how did you pick the family that she was given to?" Lugganath asked in as loud of a voice he could muster without screaming as he looked around at the crowd and above them. "Surely you could of given her to a family that would not have died couldn't you?"

"Even I did not know they were to die, Lugganath. But it is better that they did. Abel knew she didn't fit in and now she knows why. If her parents never died and were still alive, she would have transformed and not known what to do," the king replied calmly.

"Yes but at what cost? Almost every night this girl has nightmares because of there deaths." Lugganath said as he pointed towards Abel. "If it was not for Seren I would not even know if she would still be here."

"She wouldn't be in our world if that's what you mean. She would have found a way here. Just not so soon. She is young, of course she'd be taking it hard. I pity her, but she cannot have parents stop her from learning the truth about herself."

"Of course sir," Lugganath spoke. "Your word is wisest." Something was bothering him on the inside but he could not place his finger on what it was. "Seren, Abel. Is there anything you wish to say before we leave the company of the king." Lugganath said blankly and without expression.

Both shook their head. "We bid you fair well, Your Highness," they said, bowing in unison.
"Fair well. Lugganath, Serendipity, take good care of Abel. That's an order."
"Will do, sir. We shall take our leave." Abel got onto Seren's back.
"Come on, Luggan!"
"Luggan?" Seren asked with a chuckle.
"I'm getting tired of saying Lugganath."

"Yes I bid you farewell." Lugganath said as he bowed with what was exposed of his forehead inches from the floor. "Are paths will cross again." He followed Abel and Seren.
